Ubisoft Quebec collaborated with Ubisoft’s teams in Tokyo and Osaka to help create the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The fact YT world is more upset than japan, should tell you how racist this world still is towards black people. And honestly I’m tired of people’s excuses and ideals that ignore this fact. People in general don’t get that black people are everywhere and always have been, the removal of us in history is paramount obviously because they not only didn’t want us to know our names and cultures during enslavement, they rid the world of its memory and now if it’s not Sub-Saharan Africa don’t let black people be seen portraying characters otherwise. It’s bullshit and yall can keep the imaginary progression. Since the game was announced the world has been jeering, Bashing and scolding history, the game and the developers and it’s getting old. Anytime a black character is made lead in a production that isn’t normal to the eye of the world, especially eyes that don’t know history or Black leads that are something other than crime dramas and Horror victims, there is a wave of rage/outrage across the planet, of boldness and disgusting behavior all over fiction and representation.
